Hello everyone,
I would like to get some help in determining the manufacture date/place of a used Eric Johnson stratocaster I purchased. The id on the back plate is EJ09831. I've tried to use some of the tools/lists on the web for dating Fender guitars but have come up empty thus far.
Any comments regarding serial number identification would be welcome.

Hi, you can email fender with the serial number and they will give you information about your guitar :)

They only started making them in 08 didnt they? :? Their made in corona same as all the signature guitars.

I believe thay started making it in 05 or 06.....

You are correct they started making them in 2005.
