I have relic'd my own bodies, necks and hardware a few times before. The only thing i could never figure out was how to age the plastic parts. I'm guessing prolonged exposure to light is what makes plastic yellow naturally, but that takes years. In the end, i always end up buying an aged parts kit from Fender for $20. Let me know if you find out how to do it.

Im not sure, but i believe its UV light that causes plastic to age.
And I know you can get UV water filters, and dont sun beds use UV lights?

If you have access to either of these, id give that a shot. The only thing I can think of that might age plastic parts.

Leave knobs, pu covers, etc in coffee overnight, or longer if you want, and it gives the stuff a great aged look.

You could buy a small aquarium, place the plastic parts in the aquarium and then set a reptile UV heat lamp over it. Then try to explain it when people ask you why you have guitar parts instead of a lizard in the tank.
