Hello Fender Guitar Forum,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mat Smith and I am from "Sunny" Blackpool in the UK. I have been playing music for about 12 years and guitars for about 5 years. I started on the trumpet after being told my hands were "too small" for a saxophone (?) and eventually I have made it into the addiction that is playing and collecting guitars.

Well with that out of the way, it's time to talk about my Strat! I bought this baby as a sort of new years treat for myself a couple of years ago. I've always thought a Red Strat with a Maple neck was the pinnacle of electric guitars, so you can imagine how excited I was when she arrived. I kept her stock up untill about 6 months ago when I went through giving her abit of an upgrade. She now sports a spankin' set of SD "Everything Axe" Pickups, a LSR Roller Nut, Sperzel Locking Tuners and a Wilkinson Convertible Bridge!

Anyway, enough of that, ON WITH THE PR0N!

This guitar is officially the best I have ever played (including a £4,595 Les Paul!). She plays so effortlessly and NEVER goes out of tune. She is so awesome, I need Tele to go with her ;)!

Well thats about it from me! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Blackpool eh? Avoid jools (ciderman) of erdington road unless you have a serious desire for alcohol dependency. Lovely strat btw. candy apple red and maple is by far the best selection i agree. Everyone knows the red ones are faster

Nice git, Matt.
I love to see the different ways people chop their gits. I would love to hear those pups! You should put a vid on youtube and post the link.
