Anyone know how to date a "crafted in Japan" 50's strat? it starts with an S,then 6 serial numbers. Fender's web page only goes to R,then 6 serial numbers. Those stop in 2005. Any ideas??

Hey man,thanks for the link. Unfortunately when i put my serial number in,it came back as unrecognized. I'm guessing the resource they were using was the Fender site....so no luck yet until Fender updates their online dating info. Anyways, thanks for the effort,you were the only one who even had an idea.
