Is this a question?

All you do is unscrew it, pop the knobs off, unscrew the pu's then screw that stuff all on the new one and screw it to the body...very simple.

make sure you take the strings off of at least the tuners, or loosen them enough to where you can maneuver the pg around the neck/bridge. go slow, and don't loose your screws.

I'm going to add one addendum to all of this...you also need to make sure that the replacement pickguard is the correct replacement for what's on the guitar. While most MIMs and Am Stds have a "standard" 11 screw pickguard and are interchangeable, there are some models (older instruments and reissues) that may only have 8 screws. Further, some Squire Strats such as the Bullets and the Affinities (as well as many knock offs), while still 11 screws have a slightly different screw pattern so you can't use a MIM or Am Std pickguard as a direct replacment. In other words, if you don't get a pickguard that is a direct replacement for your guitar, you could end up filling holes and redrilling.

If you're not sure about this, I would suggest taking the guitar in to some place like Guitar Centers or other big music store that sells replacement pickguards and check to make sure the holes line up with whatever it is you're buying. If you're buying something like a custom pickguard off Ebay, it's worth contacting the seller and letting him know exactly which model of guitar you have to make sure they can get you something that is a direct replacement.

Good Luck!
Jim

That would be a #2 Philips. Heny F Phillips himself would be proud of that one.

I have a wrench set that goes up to 2" and one that goes to 50mm. I have even used them.
