I just bought a Highway One Strat tonite. It's with the standard 6 screw trem and screw-in bar. My other Strat is a Deluxe Ash Strat with a 2 point trem with the pop-in bar.

Will a trem block for a pop-in bar fit a vintage style trem plate? I'd like to have the pop-in style on my HW 1, but I want to leave it as a vintage style trem.

Thanks, Bob

I don't think they are interchangeable.

+1 -- I always thought pop-in is only for two point.

Looking at my 2 trems. I think if It had the pop in kind on the 6 screw trem it wouldn't work with the bar being at the different angle .

On the pop in one, the hole is drilled almost vertical, whereas the vintage on is at an angle. A pop in type of block on the vintage style plate would make the bar be too low when using it - the geometry is all wrong.

Oh- well, it was worth a shot :D

Really? Do you know where I can get one? I'd like to at least try it.
