And there's another big seller of Japanese Fenders who regularly lists the Kotzen sig Strat and at a much better price too. He doesn't appear to be selling one just at this second, but keep an eye out...

It's hard to find in the USA because it's not sold here.
It's one of the many Fender-Japan models that Fender has decided it doesn't want sold in the USA. Pretty simple actually.

As Ceri has pointed out though, it's not impossible to buy one.

Kotzen is a Tele guy, but he has both a signature Tele and Strat. How about that!

Man, Nice instrument. 8)

(My sig strat would have the back panel actually recessed into the wood so it would be flush with the back.)
Other than that, I don't imagine my perfect strat would be much different from his.
