Does anyone know if you can change the cover on Lace pickups? Mine are white, and I think they'd look better black

I think they're glued in place... it may be possible to pry them off if you cut around them with a scalpel-type blade, but probably not advisable.

You would think there'd be an option to change covers from their site as they offer some different colours, but I guess not if they're permanently attached.

You could, perhaps, paint them with some semi-gloss enamel, but you might end up looking like one of those guys who thought their car would look kind of "stealth-y" if they spray-painted it black... heh.

Google Lace Sensors or Actodyne Corporation.

you cannot take them off without destroying the pickups, because the covers are glued to the pickup itself....

i've head different lace sensors since they first came out. none of mine can be switched easily.

you probably "could" if you knew exactly how they were put together, ripped it open, had a new cover from the factory and heat sealed it or something.

In general, you cannot change them like your average single coil cover.
