Hi and thanks for the answer(s). I coudln't find the first posting hence the new one. I want to try and reprogram the chip to get open E tuning.

It's not just a single chip - it's a whole synth. And Fender and Roland have not documented it's internal workings (that I know of).

I know that the internals are like a Roland VG-99, but other than that - I know nothing

I've had a look and there are a couple of sockets on the PCB, I'll get a plug :wink:
