It honest to god does not matter what guitar you play the blues on.

There is no "best" blues guitar. Or pickups,. Or fingerboard wood.

The player makes the sound.

The "jimmie vaughan tex-mex strat" is a great axe for blues. 8)

The Highway One can get 'er done. You want to play them and see what sound you prefer. Also, check the quality on the Highway One because some people here have complained. Mine's been great. They really do have a lot of differences, with the Highway One playing a little darker. That Lite Ash with the Seymour Duncan was one I wanted to check out but I couldn't find it. I heard it's made in Korea.

i'd choose the highway one. unbeatable american quality.

my second choice would be the dlx players strat. the noiseless pups are nice.

But try them all and which ever feels the best is your guitar.

the guitar picks the player. :)

I would go for the Jimmy Vaughan Tex-Mex Stratocaster.
Or a Mexican Classic Series '60s stratocaster.
If you're hard on the frets rosewoodboard neck is better, it's
cheaper to refret, no refinishing needed.

Good luck, Peter
