notice that the pots are usa cts and the 5 way switch is also usa also look how well the body is matched (2 piece) and the nice s-s-s routes and look how nice the sunburst looks this guitar has a better looking burst and better matched body than a lot of american made strats Ive seen now ok the finish is poly but i love this burst and poly wont wear near as fast a plus for me and the pups are mim so i buy usa 57/62 pups for $130 off ebay so the bridge is mim with a thick zinc block so i pay $60 for a steel block and the tuners are ping ok Ive had no problems with them at all she stays in tune most all night at gigs you'll see 1 replaced tuner that was a gig injury and the list price when a bought her brand new was $850 i paid $550 because my little brother worked and that shop. so ad upgrades for a total of $650 now a usa 62ri is 1200+ and i would have like to have gotten one but didn't have the money so it was between this and a blue usa std for $75 more this mim but this strat is killer great feeling neck smooth frets and all the body is very resonant and she sounds great so the point of this is the 60s is a great guitar and for $200-300 you can upgrade it to be just about as good as a usa which is great for us working class folk who cant just spend $1200+ on a strat do to money or wife lol though i am saving my pennies for a usa 62ri hot rod 3 tone burst so yes the mim is a great 62ri for the money but id take the usa for the right price

Dimefan, thanks for throwing in the Road Worn specs. From a parts and price perspective, it seems to drop right in between the other two. The relic factor can be seen as a plus or minus, depending on the buyer's taste.
