It's due to the worse anything to ever tarnish the human race....political correctness. I'll use the word $@! any time i want and if someone doesn't like it they can plug their ears cuz i ain't gonna stop using it. It's all about the INTENTION behind the word. And if someone is so friggin stupid that they don't realize that someone who is talking about Japanese guitars is simple using it as an abbreviation, they need their friggin head examined. Or better yet, removed ! Yeah, PC is a VERY sore spot with me, to be extremely understated....don't get me started.

When you can write an algorithm script that parses all entered data from the forum and "decides" what the intent is, so that any and all marginally offensive and rude phrases can be get the freedom to be posted to make a few feel like they're "expressing themselves", then you can sell that to Fender.

In the meantime, grow up and stop whining about "why" certain words are auto-censored upon a form submission on this site, or most sites around the world. Go live in China and you'll see what real censorship is. Foolish americans always have something to moan and cry about. Don't realize how good you have it.

This is the dumbest thread I have ever read on this forum. We are lucky that Fender provided us with this board to chat, post pix, and ask questions. In real life, I cuss like a sailor, but I wont let my feathers get ruffled because I cant drop F bombs or use slang to describe certain parts of the female anatomy. Here's a crazy idea:

Good point, I've usually found that to be the case too, now that I think of it. Some people need to either argue, buck "the man" or purposely try to be offensive. Then point the finger at catch phrases to blame for why their hate cannot be spewed for all to enjoy. Good point indeed.

That may or may not be the case here, but I have seen that be the case, more often than not, in similar situations.

Whats a Mully? is it something to do with billy ray cirus's haircut? If so im very anti mull. Theres a level of crudeness to which no self respecting human being should plummet.

I've found a few things censored that i consider perfect english and in no way offensive to anyone. A word for cut beginning with 'sn' and ending in 'ip' also a couple of words for angle beginning with 'sl' and ending in 'ope' or 'ant'.

Is it really a problem? Its certainly not as much trouble to rethink my use of my national language as it is to justify my choice of words to someone who may not speak english as a first language.

People from Texas are Not Tex's nor are people from Mexico Mex's. I also find it offensive that when Fender considers it "special" then its "Texas Specials" but when in collaboration with mexico,its only"tex-Mex".Is it that fender does not think Mexico special enough to be in full accord with Texas? Texas and Mexico have a long and rich history with each other,and should be placed with the same appreciation and equality.
Why does Fender and some members of this forum consider it appropriate to protect the Japanese but Not the Texans,and not the Mexicans. It is a travesty and must be addressed and rectified. from now on I insist that the product be known as,"Texas-Mexicans specials",as it is only fair,to all involved.We shold be inclusive NOT exclusive.In that vein we must extend the same considerations and protections to all or to none.
I am also curious about this "Limited edition Fender Blues Junior "Texas Red" is that some sort of accusation of politcal affiliation? I say it must be looked into.
