92 SRV Brazilan Rosewood

Got a 92 SRV strat. Feb 1992. A guy sent me some comparison pics between pau ferro and Brazilian rosewood necks. I know they are extremely rare. Can someone take a look and see what they think. He said Brazilian has slits in the grain where pau ferro is a tighter grain. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

if i were to geuss id say its pau ferro i looks to lite to be brazilian

here is a link to a pau ferro neck. Grain is nowhere near the same as mine. My neck is actually darker than it appears in the pics.

it could be brazilian ive hread that the early srv strats have brazilian mabe take some pics of the neck in sun light so we can see the grain better
