I recently bought a Mexican standard strat and I want to change the strings to .010's. My question is if a change of string gauge from nines to tens is gonna throw my guitar out of whack?

I mean I know changing string gauges can mean re-seting up the guitar but is that even on a change this small?

Thanks

Going from 9's to 10's should not make that much difference, but I would check it out after anyways.

If you go up to a higher guage and your guitar has a floating tremelo, it's going to pull harder on it and could cause a number of small problems, including changing the string height, the intunation, and the ability of the strings to stay in tune all together. All these problems can easily be solved, but if you change string guages on a guitar with a tremelo, you will have to do some work on it.

When you change string guages, unless you adjust the bridge settings, it will be slightly out of whack.
