Its saddles are common on squires. It could well be the squire bridge. Is the string spacing at 52mm from E-E? If so it is a squire bridge.

you are propably right about the squier and the spacing is also 52mm! thanks!

still it's a mystery to me :p

i guess it's mostly squier parts, but it's a great guitar anyway!

How thick is the body?

Actually that decal looks "funny" to me too. Here's what a MIJ Standard looked like:

Look at the string trees and the Made in Japan sticker on O's strat. That's how mine looks too! Yours is lacking those things but I'm far from a expert. Nice and Enjoy!

Ah i think we could be reading too much into those saddles lads. I have them on my MIM squire series although its fender made. Theres a lot of parts swapping around at factory level.

And we are certainly seeing a lot of Squiers being "rebranded" as Fenders lately!

Ok point taken.

Notice the heel truss adjuster screw though. That screw looks a little high.

No skunk stripe on that neck, eh? Your "80s MIJ Strat" is looking more and more like a Chinese fake to me ... :x

I've not seen a squire with heel end trus adjuster before either.
