Just a short story for you Strat lovers out there... Imagine this- you get married, have a kid, and regretably sell your Strat along with other gear you once swore only death could pry out of your hands. A story you've probably heard before, right?

But, imgine that you had that custom built Strat made to your specs the last year I believe Fender's Custom shop still did that for under $1,000 - it was probably the closest thing I got to creation outside of my beautiful daughter. Then imagine, 8 years later you find it on Craigslist for sale out of the blue!

I just happened to be browsing for guitars and recognized my custom designed Strat, that as far as I know, has only one sibling (I believe there were only two made- one for me, and one for the store I ordered it through- was a bit PO'd about that since I thought I had an original made just for me- but I forgave them). I contacted the seller, and sure enough, he recognized my name as the guy who regrettably sold it to him 8 years ago!

I'll be picking it up from him later this week! It's about as close to finding a lost love, or missing family member, or that girl you should have asked out all those years ago but chickened out- or better yet, got another chance with the one that got away.

Only you people can understand how I feel right now. I can't wait to hold her in my hands again! I have to be the luckiest guy in the world! Thanks for reading my story! : )

That is a great story. I have a particular car I sold that I always have an eye out for. But they need to make a movie out of it. So start thinking of who can play you...
