I posted the other night that i bought a mim strat for 130bucks does anyone know the deal w/ser### it's mn6 which is 96-97 plus 6digits underside of pickgaurd says aug-99 and it has tex special pickups. these damn mexican guitars seem to be what ever is in a bucket in the corner and they put it togeather! I,m not bitching I paid a buck30/with an amp and sound great.any insight in the ser# would be cool thanks.btw I would post pics and will later but my kid put the camera in the bath with her!!!#$$^^%#$%^

sounds like a partsocaster. not saying that is a bad thing, especially for $130.

I agree, if it's a standard, it didn't come from the factory with a 1996 neck and a 1999 pickguard with TS pickups.

You should be thanking the previous owner, or whoever modded it!

And this is proof that you don't get the cash you put into mods out of it when you sell. The TS pickups alone are almost worth the $130!

Yup , so many people mod now, theres a lot of guitars that aren't a lot like they were when they left the factory. it sounds like you got a bunch of upgrades with yours!
