Yeah, don't overlook the mim strats. I have a 93 mim that I dropped SCN pups in and she is my favorite guitar. Okay the new Yngwie has temporarily surplanted her but it still rocks.

The mim do offer a lot of bang for the buck.

You may want to check out the HWY 1s as well.
