hi. this is probably in another post but whatever i couldnt be bothered looking so you will have to give me 1 bad brownie point for that. anyway... i am investigating my guitars authenticity because the serial number is chipped and not complete so i pulled the guitars insides out and the neck and body have a barcode sticker. the neck is: MO1949816 body is:MO1774838

now. can anyone tell what those mean? or where to find out.
and is there anything else i can look for to see if it's genuine?

the pickups also have '28c' '32c' and '30c' writen on them.

Those numbers aren't serial numbers. They are inventory/part/tracking numbers for use in the factory.

The dates of manufacture are often stamped on the various parts; body, neck, pickguard.

If you could post pictures here and/or describe all of the codes you find on the various parts, members here would freely discuss the authenticity.

i dont have a camera...
from a little investigating on the net it appears to be genuine...

but still, any more info from people will help.
