Does anyone know if I can buy a Master Built Strat online? I ask this because in Puerto Rico there are no Fender Dealers and I would love to someday own a Master Built Strat made to my exact specs.

Hi IJ1991: I don't know the answer, but if you post this enquiry in the Custom Shop Forum you may get more informed replies.

Or you could look at the Custom Shop's website:

http://www.fender.com/customshop/home/index.php

Or you could contact Fender Customer Services and ask them about it. I'm sure your enquiry leading to purchase would make a nice change for them from answering questions about serial numbers!

Good luck - C

Not to hijack the thread, but where in Puerto Rico are you? I spent some time in Sabana Seca (Toa Baja/Guaynabo area).

To get a one off made exactly to your requirements your going to have to go through a shop. Fender do not deal with the customer directly for sales of any kind. I would contact customer services and enquire where your nearest dealer is then place your order there.

I remember Mayaguez. Nice surfing on that western end of the island.

I'm too afraid of sharks for surfing but would seem to be fun!

Guess I don't have to worry about it.......I don't have that kind of money. I don't play well enough for a custom shop.

I don't have the money at this moment either, but I hope i can someday get it. And the playing part, all you need is practice, no one is born playing guitar, some have a more natural flow but still with practice you can be as good as anyone.
