Would like to get a little more response at both ends from my tone knobs and was considering maybe a different size capacitor. Will this do the trick or am I looking in the wrong direction? Thanks

BTW, I'm using 250k pots. Probably should have mentioned that in my original post.

If you switch to 500K pots, you will expand the dynamic range of the pickups and may or may not be pleased as the bass and treble will expand at the expense of the midrange. This will compound if you change the volume pot to 500K as well. Of note too: If you change to 500K, upon dialing whichever pots you've changed to 500K, you will find they are less sensitive in terms of their sweep from 0 - 10 and vice-versa.

If you change the cap value to say, .022mf, you'll have less treble roll off than what the .05mf cap you have in there now gives you.
