The TBX will sit in the guitar body ok if you put it in the lower tonepot hole. As far as the battery placement goes i think user Blackie08 put his under the picguard too. I couldnt get it to stop shorting. This bloke tells you how to do it.

actually i didn't put the battery under the pickguard... i instead bought a X-Bat 9 battery system http://www.precisionmusictech.com/xbat.htm . no need to route space for battery, and much easier to change. lemme know if ya got any questions...

Thanks,

so the circit board will just sit in the tone & vol area & use that as the bat source, how you know where to conect the bat wires from the circit board? im guessing to the jack input some how

do u have a wiring diagram for it???

here: http://www.fender.com/support/diagrams/ ... 02BPg2.pdf

i suggest buying that x-bat system as it is really worth not having to route and not putting battery under pickgaurd( which i never could fit)
