I like the traditional stratocaster look: three-colour sunburst with a maple neck. It's simple and gorgeous. The only one that comes close, in my mind, is the Mary Kaye.

I have a Royal blue colored Strat with a maple fretboard! I'm an artist (Painting, drawing, etc) and I know when two colors look good together!

I am also looking to get a 3 tone sunburst

Two-colour sunburst. Been looking for a nitro finished body for ages but short of an EJ body coming up on ebay or getting an independent luthiers body (both expensive options) I don't have much choice. IMO my strat (maple neck, black pickguard+pu covers) would look very tastey with a nice two colour burst body :)

I'd have to say black with the maple neck, mostly because that's what I've got  I had a MIM Strat a few years ago, it was midnight blue/purple. I swear the guitar changed colour, one day blue, the next purple. She was a stunning guitar, people always commented on her colour. Sorry I sold her now

For me, it's got to be; Aged Cherry Burst with a white pick guard and a maple neck such as the early Richie Sambora signature model Stratocaster with large star inlays....Stunning!! Maybe one day
