anyone tried moving the tone pot to the bridge....leaving the middle pup
with no control.

Was thinkin that i could run 2 seperate caps and get better control of the bridge highs.

Will I limit myself in any way....

is it better to be able to roll the middle pup back?

I have played mostly lp's so it's a different setup.

i've got my guitar wired so that the middle pickup has no tone control, and the bridge has got the second pot wired to it. It works just fine. I always felt that the bridge pickup had too much high end, so it does exactly what I want it to do. But then again, I don't use the middle pickup very often. So if you use your middle pickup alot, you may just want to leave it the way it is.

Also, I have my bridge pickup "permanently" set to about 5 on the tone control. I have filled the tone controls hole with a killswitch button, and now the tone pot is located under the pickguard, set at about halfway. And now the guitar sounds perfect.
