Since I don't care for John Mayer, "thanks" would not be the word I had in mind....

I used to love John Mayer, but after submerging himself in celebrity culture, I just (IMO) think he's a big fat faker.

Yeah.

But I do like his music. Just think he himself is too cocksure.

Cocky. But that's not how (in my view) a guitarist should be. He becomes more of the celebrity than the musician. He's got the skills, he's just gotten big headed - many people say that too.

Weak, weak, weak. This is the last place I expected to hear celebrity gossip. He's an amazing guitarist with a great tone and a seriously cool guitar that they are now going to make available to us.

Hey StratHeads-

John Mayer....Hmmm I used to think he was a wanker...then I heard his "Trio" and was blown away. Nice tone...very much his own style.

As for Fender making his "Custom Shop"...if it makes them money...then good for Fender-

He's the "Big Strat Gun" Right now. Who else is out there right now that is showcasing Fender and is a good player????

The Freeze

A "replica of a relic," which is a replica of a well-worn, well-played guitar.
