The cleanest Fender that you can get for a decent price right now is the 65 Twin reissue with the custom 15'' speaker in it. You can not get that thing to break up.

My little two-tube Champion 600 is clean as a whistle! It begins to distort around 9. At 12, not so good. I love it though-want clean, buy it. :D

And that would be the 65' Twin Custon with the 15" speaker that is big time clean amp.

I was going to mention the '65 Twin Custom 15. I bought mine at a nice Guitar Center clearance price "because we're not going to stock them anymore." Well, I'll remove this one from your stock for that price. It stays clean to the point of pain. :)

That is the cleanest sounding Fender I have played on.

I really wasn't looking to buy another amp but the Twin Custom's price kept dropping until it was only $50 more than the Guitar Center green tag sale price I paid for my '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue. Yeah, I can do that. Trading in my Hot Rod Deluxe dropped the price even farther.

Oh, and moving the Twin Custom isn't as bad as I thought it would be. It came with casters so I can roll it from room to room.

You need a jazzking or steelking. They dont distort at all ever. Forget the tubes if you want a good reliable clean amp go solidstate. If your running a load of effects into a tube amp you lose half the benefit of the tubes. You will get equally as good tones from a solidstate amp and one of these to warm the sound up a bit.
