Looks like a really pretty '62 reissue to me.

I'll guess: a Japanese '60s Reissue.

or one of the MIM 60's Classics. Either way, very nice! Knowing the serial number will be the sure fire tell.

Hmmmmmmm, I'm wondering if the 62' RI had that many screws in the pickguard, some how I don't believe it does, so I'll guess MIM Std. Stratocaster.

Not a MIM Standard Strat cuz of the staggered pole pieces and truss rod adjuster at the body. Does a '62RI have 11 pickguard screws or 8?
One big question, is the guitar stock, from the factory????

Is the replacement tuner a clue? If not i'll go with a 92 standard. If so i'd say a partso

It's the very first Fender Artist Model; a Hendrix from 1980. Those were so limited. Charlie's Music in Dallas actually had one back in '93 when I first moved there and I let it slip through my fingers :x

I think the first one is a custom shop master built- im going by the fading in the sunburst yellow-slight red- then black. I love that type, its what they are meant to look like and it shows good craftmanship
