on my MIM deluxe, the bridge looks like its set significantly higher than my MIA standard, and the low e has been buzzing around the middle of the neck. could the bridge height be related to the buzzing? and if so, how can i adjust it? ive never adjusted the bridge before.

If you've never adjusted the bridge height, you've most likely never set the neck relief either. Be sure you know what you're doing BEFORE you start. You can easily ruin your guitar if you don't.

Perhaps best to get it to a tech and have them set it up until you know more about it?

My personal opinion is to take it in and have a complete setup done on it.
Ask if you can watch.
