1) anyone tried wiring with the bottom tone pot working the bridge, or bridge and middle combined and not the middle pup..... why are strats wired with no tone on the bridge?

2) anyone run 2 seperate cap values for bridge and neck.. ie .o22 neck and .015 bridge.......lets you warm up the neck a lot and still keep the bridge bright...

3) why is the input on the lower pot to the first post, while the neck input goes to the middle post on that pot......Gibsons are wired with the pups to the middle post on both pots?

sorry for all the questions.......but I don't want to keep soldering :)

I might offer one bit of advice. Assuming you dont completely rebuild the circuitry, while you have solder iron in hand, you might switch the capacitors from the negative side of the tone pots to the positive side. This will enhance your sound dramatically as the capacitor bleeds stored juice into the system before the tone pot rather than after. It made a big difference in my Kickassocaster.

The really cool thing about knowing how to solder, knowing where to look for wiring diagrams, and not being afraid to open up your guitar and work on it is that you can experiment until you find the one you like.
Over the past few years I have probably used more wiring setups than most people use in a lifetime.
