Hi Kevin: am I understanding what you're getting at - you want pairs of guitarists we like that are very different to one another?

I like Mark Knopfler and Jimmy Page. Dunno if they're polar opposites but they're very different to each other.

Or Pete Townshend and BB King. They both do things I love: you wouldn't mistake one for the other!

Or did I misunderstand?
