Well, all I have to say is, WOW!!! The band definitely noticed a BIG difference in our sound last night! The Strat just SAANG!!! I could not be happier with my choice. I'd been out of prforming for about 23 yrs and when I picked up a guitar again, I bought a little cheapy Ibanez and have been playing it for about 6 yrs on & off stage. A few mods later ( Fender Tex-Mex in neck & mid w/ a JB in the bridge) Played thru a Marshall DFX 250, it didn't sound bad. But the Strat brought the amp alive last night! I didn't want to stop playing! It's taking some getting used to ,cuz the neck is a little wider and my 50 yr old hands got used to playing the "kids" guitar. But all in all, I'll never go back! In the immortal words of Commander Cody, Look out boy's, I got a license to Fly!! To Blertie, It's solid black. Remindes you of a Black Pearl. Oh, and to Anarchy, yeah, the lederhosen was coll, but you should have seen the pigtails!!!!

i cant quite tell from the pictures, but have you got any pictures of the neck plate?
