Hi all, I own both a Highway One (Upgraded) and a Delxue Players, so they both have a Vintage Synch Tremolo. But whenever I change strings, the saddles on the bridge slips around like crazy. Is this normal? Because I used to have a Standard 60th anniversary, but the saddles never slip around.

Unless you want to clean and polish the fretboard or body underlying the strings, it's better to change just one string at a time .... fewer parts not under tension. If you're moving from one guage to another, it's also a good time to get out the feeler guage and recheck the setup once it's in tune again.

Fender has changed it's tremolo and bridge hardware a number of times over the decades. You can check the parts pages on this site for examples. In addition, a number of manufacturers jumped in with THEIR versions of "IMPROVED" hardware. A used eBay Fender could arrive with a variety of designs and parts sources bolted together, for instance. If it works OK when it's all tuned up, I wouldn't worry about it. There are a number of collector sites where they dissect Fender's very carefully so you can compare differences.

Oh no, I never take all the strings out at once. It's one string at a time, but I'm just asking, is the loose saddles normal on Strats? Because my luthier informed me that it shouldn't be a problem. But does anyone have loose saddles also?

I don't think loose saddles are a common problem. This is only the first or second time I've ever heard of it happening.
