people usually use a drop of Crazy Glue or any similar glue, but it has to be just a drop so that the nut can be removed when needed.

I use 2 of the tiniest dots of superglue. You dont need to hold the nut down the strings do that. You just want it secure for when you have the strings off.

I use a couple drops of carpenter's glue. I use Titebond. Like they say only a couple drops, just to stabilize the nut. the tension of the strings themselves will hold the nut down.

Superglue it totally unnecessary, especially if the nut is made right which in part means it should fit snugly. that last thing you want to do is make it had to remove w/o chipping wood or finish. all you need is a tiny bit of wood glue if you need to glue it. I don't even glue mine at all because i make them correctly and they fit tightly enough so that they don't move.

that said, there are as many ways as there are strat models, and if you wanna superglue it in thats up to you. But like i said, if the nut is made right theres no reason to.

+1 Tite Bond It does not set fast like crazy glue.
