You know what? I think I misread something at some point, nevermind. :?

I get confused here at work, especially after lunch.

I hear that. I'm at work also. This makes the day easier.

That and coffee keep me awake. You know, when all of your screens starts getting blurry and it's hard to keep your head up.

Is the 2004 American Standard identical to the current one in terms of specs?

As far as dimension, frets, etc?

I guess in terms of everything. Does the 2004 model have the Copper Infused High Mass 100% Metal Bridge Block, 4-Bolt Neck Attachment with Micro-Tilt™ Adjustment, Bi-Flex Truss Rod System and Delta Tone system?

As you can see, I looked at the current model's specs and mentioned everything that stood out, haha.

Welcome Penguin! Nice Strat $560.00 US is a very good price. What you may buy is technically a 03/04 American Series Stratocaster in olympic white, with a maple neck. Similar in many ways to the new model but there are a few differences.
1. The bridge saddles are different.( I prefer the ones on yours because the palm of my hand rests there alot when I play.) the newer model has the bent steel saddle which some believe increases sustain.
2. The bridge block is different. Not necessarily bad just different. the newer model has a higher mass (increased sustain).
3. The neck contour is a fatter C than the new model and the finish on the neck is satin vs. tinted glazed. I'm sure there is more minutia that I haven't thought of but you'll get plenty of answers.

The pickups are the same as all American Strats single coil reversed polarity in the middle to reduce hum in combo with the neck or bridge. If you were closer to me I'd buy it... Good price...

If I like it then I am defintely picking it up. The only thing that concerns me is the neck thickness. I am currently playing an Ibanez with a Wizard II neck and we all know how thin they are! However, one of my students has a Squire Strat from a starter pack and I like the neck on it.
