Free is about the only price I would pay for any pre-relic'd guitar.

A used guitar with signs of being used is worth more to me than any of the pre-relic'd guitars anybody makes.

So count me in the "don't like the Road Worn Series" crowd.

I know I'm most likely in the minority here, but hey, that's life.

Free? I'd totally take one. Personally, I couldn't justify spending that kind of money on a beat to hell-looking guitar.

Don't think you are in thr minority. i agree with you. I will refrain from stating my less than polite views on them.

No, I'd say that puts you solidly in the majority. There have been definitely some that have given love to RW, but nowhere close to the number of detractors. I think they are cool for those that buy 'em, but I -- like you -- would never buy one myself.

I'd take one for free, but it would take hundreds of dollars to get it into the condition I like. If I have a "new" guitar, I want it to look NEW.

Really? You'd like a free Strat? Hmmm, I'd venture a guess that just maybe everyone here would like one for free ...

At this point I'm not sure if I'm with the majority or not but I too would feel kind of rediculous if someone said "hey your guitar looks really old - is that a 60's strat?" and my reply had to be "no it's a week old, I bought it brand new...aged".

Just seems. . . I don't know, like what's the point? The idea of a 30 or 40 or even 50 year old guitar is that it's 30 or 40 or 50 years old.

With that said - if you like them, rock em - that's why there are so many options :)
