Hello all,

Im in the market for a new guitar, and just a quick question.

Are there any MIM stratocasters with a nitro finish?
If so which ones?

Thanks,
Trukis.

How do the new Road Worn MIM models strike you?

The road worn never really apealed to me for a purchase.
i like the worn look. but i'd rather it happen naturally.

kinda why i like the idea of a nitro finish.

The Highway 1 American Strats have a nitro finish. But other than the road worns that's about all I can think of in that price range.

Highway One Strats/Teles are finished with a nitro finish. I do believe they have alnico III pickups too. Not to mention they are USA made and cheaper than the RoadWorn series.

you can buy Highway 1 bodies really cheap too. Im thinking of picking one up, $150- $200. They are different from most nitro bodies though, they have a matte finish instead of a gloss. I kind of like that for a build im thinking about. Plus for people who like the relic look, a few years of playing one of them will get you there authentically.
