I was reading through my electric guitar encyclopedia and ran across the fender hellecaster.

interesting looking strat if you ask me, pretty cool.

how do the split coils sound?

I think that the link is referring to the player, John Jorgensen, one of the guitarists in a band called The Hellecasters and virtuoso guitarist, composer, arranger, songwriter, and professional touring musician.

I picked up one a few months ago..Had to remove an extra capacitor but it plays & sounds great!!
