We got away easy with the weather last night and today. I'd say about 3-4" and that's it. I see you guys got hammered though.

13 inches :!:  ; The private snow removal crew which services my community is in the process of making a second pass through. They've done my driveway twice, and finally my walk and front steps. I opted out of the commute to the office and university today. I could see myself in the LIRR parking lot at 11:00 p.m. digging out in the current windchill of 5.
'NOT" :!: :!: "We Can Be Heroes" was not to be the anthem of the day this year.

Doc.

Wow!!!

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Discretion is definitely the better part of valor under those conditions!

I would like to have that honey of a pup in the bridge of a tele and a lipstick in the neck. Wonder how that would cut the mustard? A third pup of some kind for the middle? :? Sorry for the interruption![/quote]

So you need to get one of the 3-pickup Tele's Fender builds and do the swap out. Consult with Niki on the matter.

If you check the map at weather.com you'll see the last 'wrinkle' passing across Long Island, so I expect we'll have a final dusting before the sun rises tomorrow.

Like i said. Comfy slippers and enough tea will see any ice-age out. Im a firm believer that dinosaurs are extinct because they didnt have tea and chocolate biscuits.

Theres few things in life that beat the persistence of the eternal loafer, so the missus says.

13" We'd of asked for UN aid in the uk. 2" is our limit before utter standstill.

Tradition would have us sending you snow removal equipment via lend/lease along with the crews to man them. Based on prior experience you would then be obliged to send all your women into seclusion until the 'Yanks' went home in order to avoid a rather unpleasant repetition of history. :P

guys i never mean anything by the "duh" comment, must have had a bad test that day or somethin.... college is damn hard right now.

And i do appreciate all the help from you guys. You have helped me numerous times with this and today i put my 3+ years mechanical engineering studying at work. i built it in my circuit simulator program and measured it. That circuit makes the guitar pickups go from 6k to about 70k resistance!!! which is why i percieve a volume increase. Its because the signal is about 10 times hotter.

And thanks to ninja i have been fiddling around with the volume and stuff. there is always a constant tweak with volume or boost pot when playing but man is it worth it!!!! i guess ill just have to buy another strat to keep around for when i don't feel like tryin to be Eric... great here comes the GAS, maybe i need a 3TS rosewood neck strat with texas specials.. hmmm

And I just wanted to say thanks again for your help cuz i know that ill probably need it again for something else...

btw i did install LAce Hot Golds and the clapton boost kit in my 08 MIA just so we cleared that up. and it sounds amazing, not like clapton but like me...

Blackie thats pretty much how i use mine. A regular strat for regular strat sounds and the clapton modded guitar for thicker tones.
