Hi, welcome to the forum!
Stratocasters are really nice guitars however there is good stuff for any budget out there nowadays... like the squier line and other brands ... you could always try them out and maybe you will like them too ... :)

Personally i think they are the greatest Guitar ever made there is a Legend going around that the White Stratocaster was sent down by the Flying Spaghetti monster himself.

Dont feel bad.
I didnt buy my first MIA Fender Stratocaster until I was 24 years old.
My niece just got a new sunburst Squire for her birthday on Sunday.
I was pleasantly suprised by the sound and quality of a guitar that costs about $100. Its a great place to start, and nice and cheap.
You are still just a young pup, and very few teens (even us privelaged, fat, and snobby Americans) get a true Stratocaster until later in life.
I decided that I was going to buy a Gibson Les Paul Standard when I was about 10 years old. I didnt actually get one until I was 29.

Jasko,

I understand yoiur dream. I wanted a Stratocaster since I was 13. I didn't get my first one until I was 25. Save your money and buy a Squire Stratocaster. It's a good value.

Very true, you won't be dissapointed with a Squier.

Jasko...start saving and you will have one some day. If you can work hard and are really serious about wanting one, it will happen.

The Stratocaster is the most beautiful electric guitar ever made!

Also true. I bought my first Strat by saving up my lunch money for a year when I was 15 .

I think I lost 20lbs. :D

I came up with a tight budget that worked out nicely and it was well worth it.

My first was in 1973. I was 18. It was a "69" White ( Hendrix Influenced ).
Put it on layaway and took 3 months to pay off. Lost sleep many a night dreaming about the day I could bring it home.
It took awhile to get used to it as I was playing a 73 Les Paul Deluxe.
To sum it up, I have 12 now and wouldn't trade them for the world.

Don't let anything stand in your way! All dreams come true if you believe!
