I just bought a 88 MIA Strat and I'm having problem with the input jack. It's very difficult to remove the cable. I mean HARD to remove. I would think after a while I would end up ruining a cabel. Anyone else have this problem before? Know of a solution?

Remove the 2 screws holding the jack plate in place. Carefully pull it away from the guitar. You will see a long piece of metal with an s type shape on the end of it. Very carefully bend the entire metal piece out slightly. Try a cable in it and make sure you did not bend it out too far and that it is easier to remove the cable. When you are satisfied with the amount of force it takes to remove your cable put it all back together.

generally the cable is held in place within the jack by a little metal tab. so you can pull the jack out. then if you dont know what tab im talking about just stick the cable in and youll see it lock on this tab. you should be able to just bend it back a bit so that it wont pinch the cable in to tight.
