[b]Hello, i have a question. In my last topic i was having problems with my guitar going sharp after using the tremelo. I lubricated it like everyone said to do, i added two more springs making it 5 springs now. I think i;ve got it fixed, but theres just one thing, the tremelo is very hard to move.

Do i need 5 springs or will 3 do. I'm only using 10 guage strings and i never get crazy with the whammy.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

I would have adjusted the trem claw screws first instead of adding springs. This would have helped keep the amount of pressure needed to use the tremelo closer to what it was.

With a properly setup guitar you should have no tuning issues using 3 springs.

I would use 4 springs at most 5 would get really hard but if you have a strong hand that should be no problem :)
