I know Fender has a great 7 multiple guitar stand that folds into a guitar case which is great and what I am looking for but the price is quite high. Warwick also makes one and it is a little cheaper but doesn't look quite as nice as the Fender one. Does anybody have either of these and what do you think of them? I'm looking for a stand that folds and holds 7 guitars. Does anybody else make one besides Fender and Warwick or should I just go with one of these? Any suggestions??

Thanks

I use a Warwick 5 slot stand. It folds closed, but is not in case form. The price on that style is pretty reasonable, under $100. It's very solid and well balanced. The only alteration I've made was to cover the padding with old guitar polishing rags where the necks and bodies contact it. I don't trust the padding to not mark the finish over time. I'm a fussy SOB.

Make your own--although this one isn't foldable as such--you could adapt it-

If you do a websearch for make your own guitar stand--there's a lot of other links as well.

Go on Ebay and do a search for guitar stands. I found a 3 guitar stand that folds for storage for $40. Sam Ash had the same stand for close to $100.

Gator has the closest thing I've seen to the Fender (unsure about 7 guitar capacity though).

I like the Hercules stands, they have not failed me yet :)

If I am going to hang 8K$-10k$ or more of guitars on a stand I'd rather not scrimp in it.
