My brother is sending me his old strat this week and he sent me some pics today. I noticed his has a shiny fender emblem on the back of the headstock. I looked at mine and noticed it doesn't have one. I checked to see if it fell off or something but from what I can tell it looks like nothing was ever there. Does this emblem mean anything? I'll try to get some pics up later.

It may be a model, or year. They put some kind of emblem on the back of some anniversary models, but they're not on most.

Firstly welcome to the Forum.

Most all the Fenders made in 2006 have a
little silver round emblem on the back of the headstock
for the 60th Anniversary of Fender.
