i bought a strat body made by a independent luthier off ebay. i haven't received it yet, but the guy i got it from doesn't know what the bridge is and i'm curious. i have a trem waiting for the body, but i'm curious as to what this one is and maybe it might be worth leaving on, who knows. Sorry about the pic quality, but it was a small pic i had to blow up to be able to see the bridge well. Any idea? I think it's off a cheap import like a korean squire or some such thing, but thats just a guess.

Looks like a squire to me. The saddles are identical to 90's squire bridge saddles.

Will a regular Strat Tremelo fit in a Squire body and visa versa? I don't think they're interchangeable...

I don't know for sure, but i have interswapped a ton of trems among various bodies and never found any that has different spacing on the screws that mount to the body, so while some have different saddle spacing i think any bridge will fit any body. The body i bough is a really nice looking body with a nitro finish made by a independent luthier, so if it's a squire trem then the screw spacing is the same on all 6 screw trems.

Just seems odd that a Luthier with the ability to make his own strat body would not no the type of bridge he put on it. Just sounds like a manufactured body being said to be something different.

I didn't say the luthier did it. The guy that bought the body outfitted it, he just didn't know what the trem he used was.
