My first strat

Hi all!

I picked up my first stratocaster today and thought that it would be a good idea to register here. I've been playing guitar for about 3,5 years and finally decided to stop dreaming about stratocasters and buy one. She's a 3 tone sunburst american standard strat with rosewood fretboard and I have to say that she's beautiful

Dear God please help me! I've told many people all I want to do is play my guitar. I may end up that ALL THAT I CAN DO is play my guitar. I'm having a great deal of pain in lower body these days and limp and walk with a cane. I was fine a few months ago. I guess I'm just getting old! That or I spend too much time strapped to a guitar.

That's right, go American or dont go at all. I got my american deluxe and practically slept with it. Great Guitar.

^^^^With all due respect, I disagree with that statement.

I have MIM, MIA and MIMXMIA and they all sound and play great. I also own a 2004 50th Anniversary American Deluxe and my go to guitar is a MIM.

Thanks everyone. And yes tdanb2003 I got it at the old price. The price increase hasn't affected us here in Finland yet, guess we are too far away from anything :lol:
