I use mine all the time, so I can't be without it.

However, I have been considering getting a Epiphone Emperor Regent and loading it up with buckers, knobs, switch and everything (since they don't offer the broadway in sunburst anymore) so I can have the closest thing to a Gibson Super 400. What I was thinking about is whether or not I should put a bigsby on it, being that I can't live without a tremolo on my strat.

I don't use the bar too much, but I do float the bridge and push on it with my right hand.

Hi,

I use it all the time. When performing I like to use it with feedback, like SRV & Jimi (and others) . I also love to use the whammy bar with harmonics. I have a '02 USA Deluxe Strat with a Floyd Rose Tremolo Bridge...man I love that thang, especially diving with it.

I wouldn't buy a guitar without a Tremolo Bridge on it. Tremolo bridges are an important feature to me. My favorite bridge- Floyd Rose.

I wish they would make Teles with Tremolos. They do have a new 07 model with 3 humbuckers and a tremolo (J5 model), can't wait for the time to try it out.

Hi,
I use my whammy bar in sum songs and for just experimenting on stuff. You don't really need it there, it kinda gets in my way sometimes. Hope this helps a bit.

I use the bar for effects only. Throw some delay and overdrive on you signal hit those harmonics and divebomb them slowly. It will open up a whole world of sonic possabilities.

yeah bro i dont use mine either, actually there are some songs that need the wammy but, i actually dont use it that much i rather use my fingers instead of the bar takes up less time that stop playing to do so ive learned that using the bar made me lose concentration on which fret tap next so i rather use my fingers

I love using it, especially on tunes like "Freeway Jam" and "Eruption."

I'm a re-beginner - so I've left the Tremelo Bar on my Strat.

It's an interesting effect and when I can actually play well, I'll do some experiments - so for now it stays.

Very lightly, but I keep it on there. It's another tool on the guitar.

well, I have two teles and yesterday I just picked up a 2000 american strat hardtail, I don't use the trem, so I figured a hardtail strat would be perfect, something w/o all the extra stuff I don't & won't use. I play mainly country and blues, so a trem is not a huge factor in my style. I really like the hardtail strat, it's a different beast from the teles. I'm sorry to hear Fender will discontinue the model starting this year, '07.

I want one on every guitar I have. Not that I use it all the time, but it is an option. I wish my Flying V had one. I need that on a couple of songs I do. The tone on that monster is metal all the way. My Les Pauls I can do without, but my SG has the old Maestro trem that I use from time to time. My ESP has a Floyd Rose that I use all the time. I need another Guitar like that in a different tuning. As to my Strat...I use it and it is important to me, but it goes out of tune. :x I ordered a Wilkinson off of EvilBay and got stiffed. If I can get one of these, I will solve the problem. I have the locking tuners on and the LSR is ready to install as soon as the bridge arrives.

Love the option of a wammy bar even if I do not use it!
