Post subject: tuneing knob strat "VG"

Hi
I have a strat "VG" and it has a knob that changes tuneings with a Roland pick up.

With out even touching the tuneing keys it will change the standard tuneing to "D" "G" "Baratone" "B" and "12 string".

It is fantastic but I know "G" tuneing is used by Led Zeppelin the Rolling Stones, Heart...ect...great on Rock and roll...but to play the blues
its not freindly with 9ths.... so far what I have learned so far.

Now the question is I have heard Steive Rayvon used a Baratone gutair at different times....does anyone have exp with baratone tuneing?
what good is it? its very deep and powerfull :) but I would like to hear some advice on baratone tuneing.... thanks..
