It would look better if the guitar had a clearer finish, so the wood grain was visible. See my avatar, on the left. Also change the volume and tone pots with gold lettering.

I also think humbuckers look great in gold; not the standard pole pieces on a stratocaster. Just my opinion... 8)

If your going to I'd change the input guard (not sure of the technical name) to gold to. I honestly don't like the gold on a white guitar.
