Go to:

www.cs.aukland.ac.nz/~shane/rockguitarw ... index.html

You'll find an vintage Artist series catalog with both Samboras as I remember them. Note the difference in the electronics between the MIA and the MIM(Standard). There's a black Standard on Ebay asking around $300 US. It's a '96 MIM. (MSN6..........), if you're interested.

Note the old Jeff Beck guitar. :? It had a neck you could hit baseballs out of the part with :!: :?

If you have trouble getting into the link from here, go to Google for Richie Sambora Stratocaster and scroll down until you find it. That's how I got to it.

Doc

Hop: You don't get past them....you play OVER them. There's a scalloped fretboard as well, if my memory serves me....Yes? There were also two versions...MIA and MIM (or MIJ perhaps, at that time) The MIA was white. Well...anyway....I have to go out for awhile...so I think I'll dig out his CD and pop it into my car stereo.

Later :!:

The Ritchie Blackmore strat had the scalloped fingerboard. The Sambora didn't.
