You can factory and date info using your serial number at http://www.guitardaterproject.org/

You can get the detailed specs for your guitar via http://www.fender.com/products//search.php?partno=0139410380

Hope that helps.

Good luck with your new guitar.

Well I just came back from garage. This guitar sounds like supermassive sound bomb! I really didn't expect THAT SOUND. My modest equipement: marshall mg 50dfx, DOD EQ, boss gt-8 and now I replaced Squier Fender Start SSS to Fender Lonestar ...and I can't describe this sound cuz I'm still shaking :)

After few weeks of playin when I reach some chill I'll try to describe more and try to find something that I don't like in Lonestar.

First off, we need the pix
Glad you like the sound-the Pearly Gates in the bridge does sound amazing.
Had a USA Lonestar in 90's - excellent instrument. Congrats HNGD

My first strat should be arriving this Friday, and I know I'm going to need to post a couple of pics here to get help on determining just what kind of model I bought. Can you tell me how to post pics here on the board?

This is only good for current production. Assuming the OP meant that his "new" strat is a current model. My "newest" strat is a 97' Cali.

You can also check your strats' serial number here: http://www.fender.com/support/product_dating.php
